Meet Team Bliss
Your Boston-area Interior Design Team
The team at Blissful Interiors aren't just designers, they're problem solvers. Carolyn and our project manager, Melissa, keep every order, delivery and trade on track, and treat every project as if it were their own home. We're small enough that you'll always know who to call, and organized enough to run a whole-house project from the first idea to the final install.
Meet Carolyn
Lead Designer at Blissful Interiors
Blissful Interiors is the studio of Carolyn Salinetti, an interior designer with a passion for homes that feel personal. Although her career began designing trade show exhibits and retail store layouts, she knew all through design school that residential interiors were where she belonged... because nothing is as personal as a home, and nothing changes everyday life quite like it.
She launched Blissful Interiors in Melrose in 2017, and today the studio designs and furnishes homes across Boston and the North Shore. Carolyn's been known to walk into a half-empty dining room and see the built-in library its owners had never dreamed of.
With an eye for how a space really works and a love of color and pattern, your home is in thoughtful, detailed hands.
If you're after a copy-and-paste look, we're not your people.
We'd rather design a home that's unmistakably yours: listening closely to how you live, being transparent about every dollar we handle, and taking even the smallest decision seriously (yes, right down to the picture frames).
The Blissful Experience
What to Expect Working with Us
-
Experienced Listeners
Our goal: for clients to feel known and understood. Our superpower is pinpointing what you like, even when you have trouble articulating it. Relax into the process and trust us with making decisions that would otherwise make you feel overwhelmed or decision-fatigued – we listen first, then take the lead.
-
Playful Point of View
Our clients appreciate our sense of warmth, creativity, and balance of playful and polished interiors. Blissful Interior’s approach to design is to expect the unexpected and to create delight in the details by curating quality furnishings and finishes that equally suit the client's lifestyle and aesthetic.
-
Serious Organization
Our creativity thrives because of our systematic approach to project management. We follow a proven step-by-step process that keeps projects moving forward and ensures every detail is considered. This means you can trust us to take the lead from the big-picture design down to the finishing touches.
"Her attention to detail and thoughtfulness exceeded my expectations. Carolyn took the time to understand my vision, and her suggestions made the process feel collaborative and exciting."
